Update

Olivia went a birthday party this weekend at Lets Jump and had a blast going down the slides with Mommy and Daddy. She is getting very opinionated and now wants to sit and eat like a big girl when we go out to eat. Her Gaga and Papa are coming in a week and she can't wait to see them. Here are a few sweaty pics of us from the party...

Eating cake all by herself. She did pretty good.
Tired after playing for an hour and a half.

Amen or Awww Man?

It has been a little over a month since the last update. Boy, how time flies! Olivia and Jen went to Florida for 4th of July week while poor Brian had to stay behind and do school work. Olivia took her first trip to the beach and loved it! I thought she would be scared of the water but wasn't. She was more interested in the water than playing in the sand.

Recently, Olivia started saying a phrase which we thought was "Amen". We thought this was so cute and figured she learned it at school since she is going to a private Christian-based school. Well, yesterday we actually figured out what she was really saying! For those of you familiar with Dora the Explorer, there is a fox on there named Swiper who tries to steal things. If he is not successful he says "Awww Man!". That is what she was saying....Still funny as heck but I guess she won't be saying a prayer anytime soon!

Olivia is just turning 18 months. I can't believe our little baby has turned into a walking, talking toddler with an occasional attitude...I think she needs a sibling but Brian says NO for now...I will keep working on him!

Here are some recent pics!

Enjoying her new lounge chair on the patio.

Actually caught her smiling while in the car in Florida.

Summer Fun

Olivia is getting more grown up by the day. She refuses any help with anything these days as she wants to do it all herself. She is also starting to get a little bit of an attitude. Not sure where she learned that! Nothing too exciting going on around here lately but wanted to share some summer fun pics. Enjoy!

Wearing her fireman hat.

Fun at the splash park.

Swimming in the pool.

In her Memorial Day outfit. She hated the headband.

Backyard fun.

Vacation and Updates...

Its been a while since we updated. Olivia is 16 months old now. It is hard to believe she is transforming from a baby to a little girl more and more everyday. She definately has her own personality and is started to get some attitude! She know how to say "No!". She is about 24 lbs and 30 inches tall. Still a little short for her age but not a big deal.

We just got back from vacation in Florida. We spent a week in Orlando and of course went to all the Disney parks. Jen's parents drove up and met us and we rented a condo together. We had lots of fun and Olivia really misses her Gaga and Papa now that we are back home.

I am adding some misc pics and pics from vacation. Enjoy!

Easter Egg Hunt!!!

Today we took Olivia to an Easter Egg Hunt. We had a good time as was surprised she knew what to do with all the goodies laying all over the ground. The 0-3 yr olds had their own area. As we approached the crowd of waiting kids, we developed our strategy. Brian would go to the other side of the field with the camera and I would hold Olivia and run to the other side first thinking all the kids would just stop at the front. Our strategy payed off and Olivia got plenty of goodies. Here are some pics from the event.

I found an egg..
Loading up the basket!

I want all of these!

Family photo op...but can't get everyone looking and smiling at the same time.

Ready! 2, 2, 3....

Every time Olivia slides down a slide or jumps in the pool, we count first. Now she has started doing it. She does not get the numbers quite right but it is cute. We decided to get her very own slide and playhouse so we did not have to walk to park everyday. The playhouse finally arrived and Daddy put it together last weekend. Below are some pics of her enjoying her new digs!
